Activity Description

This program covers an overview of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), tests used to diagnose CLL, approved and emerging treatment options, the role of clinical trials, goals of treatment, indications for when to start treatment, side effect management, and healthcare professional considerations when caring for these patients. The goal is to help participants gain a well-rounded understanding of CLL and its management, and resources for educating and supporting patients, to improve patient outcomes.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Provider Number 1105, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 12/10/2023-12/10/2026. Social workers completing this course receive 1.5 clinical continuing education credits.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is recognized by the New York State Education Departments State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0117.
